mobile technology

Using different types of mobile applications are becoming a trend in our daily life. Like Apple, the apps store in apple now also emphasis the importance of using apps in learning.

One of the biggest advantage of using those apps in education are the prices are cheap or even free. and the number of types of apps provided from the store are in a high amount as well to suit different learning needs.

Frankly speaking, my working school is still a traditional old fashion one which do not welcome students to bring mobile phones. the chance to let students to use mobile technology for learning is still quite low at this moment.

However, the other handheld device that Peter introduce in the lecture really inspire me a bit of using them in a project . By using the handheld video recorder, recorder or mobile , students can drop their findings more easily and provide students a backup of the data for further analysis. I can also see the science teachers group are introducing maths apps from itunes

However, I believed that the use of the mobile technology are still worth to further discuss to see  how we can really apply the technology in daily routine situation or cross-curriculum approach "Most previous reviews of mobile technologies and learning have been concerned with the use of these technologies to address specific curriculum areas."
